SHELL – Sport, Health, Education for Long Life.

With the Acropolis as an image on the internet screen, I gave my speech at the cultural center of the Municipality of Argyroupoli for the European education program SHELL – Sport, Health, Education for Long Life.

An almost three-year period to highlight the role of sports trainers, both professionally and educationally, in the coming generations of the European Union has recently been completed.
Together with the European Physical Education Teachers, together with my fellow teachers of the Exp. Org. “Themistocles”, together with my colleagues from A.O.N.A. we made an excellent collaboration. Thank you all.
I believe that we have substantially contributed to the development of the role of physical education instructors, after the completion of their studies, both in the collaborating countries (Greece, Italy, Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey), and in other countries that will receive this work in print.
In this educational collaboration, I was given the opportunity to present the Special Basketball Education of Jambol Agapis as another educational activity for the disabled, which has its own educational needs. One of them is the specialized trainers of Special Sports Education, who are the main foundation of our effort.
The presentation of “Jambol Agapis” at the Sofia Bulgarian National Sports Academy “Vasil Levski”, at the Liceul Sportiv of Botosani, Romania, but also at the premises of the Educational Organization “Themistocles” in Piraeus, is the first step. The following will follow.
I want to especially thank Ms. Alexandra Pavlakis – my teacher and general director of the Educational Org. “THEMISTOKLIS” – and the director of our European programs Mrs. Irini Mani. They gave us the opportunity in the field of sports, to exchange opinions on the value of Physical Education, to share knowledge and sporting moments of action with the secondary school students of the participating countries.
I wish you a good summer and with more energy we will return to our children.
